Who's got build 10581? How's it working for you?

This is the best build so far for my Lumia 920. Updated w/o any hard reset. So far everything is working well and smoothly.

..i tried to hard reset mine, edit RC still crashes on Windows Camera.
...odd thing is that, Lumia Camera can be installed.. :D
...im using 1520, btw

Working well on my 930, inc. Hey Cortana. Once I see what the RTM can do, I'll think about a 950 in the January sales

Is this an isolated issue on 1020? Have you tried installing some other keyboard and using them?

I don't know if its isolated, but due to the massive existing responses in the feedback app regarding this issue I believe that its not isolated to the 1020.

I am an the 1520 (euro2). Tried several different keyboards: ENG-US, ENG-GB, DEU, FRA-FR - all the same. Some of those I installed just now to check, there was a short upgrade process for this but it did not fix anything.

Installation went fine and was very fast on my Lumia 920. Afterwards done a hard reset and restored backup.
Everything is running fine and smooth.

BUT still not all text messages are synced and still cannot connect to peap WIFI :unhappy:

Also getting the 0x80070538 error after 50%. Icon running the 10572 build. Anyone find a fix?

Me too on a Lumia 920. I've tried 4 times now and once after a restart. Upgrading from 10.0.10572.0

I can't install the new build, still stuck on 10572. I got the error 0x80070538 and I only got up to Preparing to Install progress. Done this twice and I just restarted the phone, so I'll check if things go well. What a waste of bandwidth though.

I followed the same path with my Icon. The update failed from 10572 to 10581 many times with 0x80070538. Used the software recovery tool to go back to W8.1. Then, used the Windows Insider to get to 10581.

My phone fits the described scenario, originally W8, updated to W8.1, then to 10572 and had never previously used the software recovery tool.

Here is the solution for 0x80070538 error:

Well, previous build screwed up the sms restore, so I performed hard reset to get them all back. Unfortunately, this build does not bother to restore sms at all... It seems I lost them for good.

It's the best version so far. I can even say that it works almost like 8.1
I run it on 920.

Not looking good. Made update from 10572 to 10581 and when phone (L830), setup started fine. Then in some case screen went blank and take ~30min - 1h when phone booted again. Then phone boot, but in startup only comes :-(
Hopefully device recovery tool helps....

Thsi seems to be like a RTM on L920 or even on my secondar L720. You can go ahead and upgrade

Yes, just go ahead after reviewing everything here: Here's what's been fixed and what still broken in Windows 10 Mobile build 10581 | Windows Central and here: http://forums.windowscentral.com/windows-10-mobile-insider-preview/391025-whos-got-build-10581-hows-working-you.html. Or wait some days to find out whether any new problems arise on other people's device.

Working snappy as an upgrade from 8.1. all software seems working faster. Offline maps still there, Sibley birds database still there, music, phonebook perfect. Did I say Here+ map is quick. I reverted to 8.1 from the preview in June 15. I came back last night with the tought it will be the 10575, but no, it is the 10581 on my lumia 928. So far so great.

Hey there!

I've installed the 81 version this night, coming from the 49 version. On my 930, unlocked, Europe. So, the installation went smooth, cca 20 minutes to boot.

The good:
- performance seems great
- no loading and resuming screens so far
- seems ok without a hard reset (though I still think I will do it just to be on the safe side)
- my native language text suggestions are downloading and installing, just like on 8.1 (that's a first for w10m)
- keyboard swipe works on other languages than English

The bad:
- Microsoft Photos plug-in is updating over and over again in the Store
- Messaging still crashes when trying to open Skype group chats
- Camera doesn't launch as fast as I would have expected
- Insider Hub not working at all, even the icon is messed up in the app list
- ...to be seen down the road...

Bottom line: a fair incremental update, works fine as a daily driver from what I can see. Still not sure about not doing that hard reset... anybody feeling any improvements after doing the hard reset?
