Who's Planning to Get an HP Elite x3

This phone is close enough for what I want, the fact it has a 16mp camera helps as I don't want to miss the capability of my Lumia Icons 20mp camera. The form factor to me is gorgeous I like the metal grill for the speakers. So provided the price doesn't require a second mortgage on the house, this along with the "Folio" accessory is a winner. The catch will be if Verizon takes this on...

This would be a great phone. I currently carry two phones, one for personal use and one for work. Having dual SIM would be nice to go down to one phone. The design looks really nice, has all of the features and functionality I could ask for. Unless the Surface phone really impresses, (which I am not optimistic about) then this will be my next phone.

Meeeeeeeeeeee. I think I could probably scrape by not buying a new battery for my 920 for the next few months.

Every penny counts :winktongue:.

Given the track record of iPAQ devices from HP, we can expect this phone on multiple carriers, like ATT, Verizon and T-Mobile. HP has a better track record with these carriers than Microsoft. I still remember HP phones with Verizon and T-Mobile logos on them.

Hoping all of you get good deals from them.

As for me, yes will definitely buy one in my country.

This is what I was hoping for, Verizon. OEM phones on Verizon at least. Look for the next Win 10 HTC to be on Verizon as well (just a prediction).

This definitely has my attention .... but I still want to win windowscentral's lumia 950 contest :winktongue: One thing the lumia 950xl has that HP falcon doesn't have is liquid cooling.
I have a dell touchscreen monitor. Call me a brandist, but a dell monitor with an HP continuum phone would just be plain wrong I tell you.

I have had a Lumia 1520 for two years and was really hoping to get a 950xl but after using one it's a great phone but not better enough than my 1520.
I really want to stay with Windows but have recently started to look at Android Phones as there do seem to be a few of those phones that could be considered to be better than a 1520 especially with all the extra apps.
This new HP phone just seems perfect, I just hope the camera is as good as my 1520s plus I really hope they will add a camera button, if it's suppose to be a business phone I'm sure a camera button would be a great bonus for some company's that would use this phone.
I just hope that this phone actually does come out soon and not get constantly delayed.
I will buy day one plus I will get the dock and laptop add one...

didn't they announce this was an enterprise product. unless all of you are going thru your company phone rep, id like to know how you plan on getting one when and if it becomes available.

While they do intend this as an enterprise product, I would be surprised if it wasn't available through the HP Store. If you go to the HP site you can sign up for alert when it is available.

HP has already stated that the phone will be available to consumers either direct from HP or Microsoft Store.

Well if Verizon carries it I may just be getting this! The only reason I'm not using a 950XL at this point is because of Verizon's refusal to allow them on their network!

They said they would sell it through HP stores for consumers as well.

I've read it wont be available until late summer, but I am already wishing and hoping. I like my 950XL but have been surprised by how much I miss the larger screen of my 1520. This is the only phone on my radar right now.
