Why am I getting interruptive 'Facebook for Windows' messages on my Windows 10 ?

They arrive in a bunch after a tab appears lower right screen. The individual is on my Facebook Friend list, and I have good anti-virus system. Screen darkens momentarily. it-s irritating.

I think if you go into your notification settings the settings and/or Facebook app you can turn off facebook notifications.
