Why i am not seeing my incoming whatapp pictures in my photo file

I only get access to my whatapp picture when I connect to the PC

Check your settings:
Open up WhatsApp and navigate to settings->chats and calls
You should see an option to turn on/off Media auto-download. Maybe it is set to 'wifi only' or 'never', change that setting.
Maybe that solves your problem.
