Why am I unable to log into my Lumia 625?

Cant log into my lumia 625

When I start my Lumia 625 I get the lock screen with a black background, the wrong date and time and a message saying try again in 362574 minutes. It has a button for emergency calls and I can't pull it up to type in my PIN. For some reason all the recent notifications are re-appearing as new ones even though I've already seen them before.

Probably your battery was "disconnected" for a "short" while. This is a sort of "bad" soft reset and the phone OS time is set back to the time/date of the latest OS update. That is why you see "old" notifications because for your phone they are "new".
If you set a password and you can not enter it you have a "big" problem.
What you could try is do a proper soft reset to see if this works.
If this does not work I fear you have to do a hard reset but you will loose all the data on your phone.

I did a lot of soft resets with no luck. even tried removing sim and sd but nothing. But the notifications are just those from the 48 hrs or so before this happened and the last update I had was months ago

Then I fear the only option you have is a hard reset. Sorry
