Why am I unable to update my Lumia 640 to the latest 14327 build (sad face loop)?

Can't update Lumia 640 to latest 14327 build (sad face loop)

I had prior 14322 w10 version running on my L640 and when updating to latest 14327 process ended with loop and sad face screen. If phone is attached to power it tries to continue update process and always ending same way.
After Windows Device Recovery tool restore (back to w 8.1 mobile version) joined back to Windows Insider program. Updated 8.1 -> W10 mobile (the first official version). After boot, insider fast ring finds latest update and when trying to update it ends up with same loop. So basically cant update to the latest version no matter what I do.
Any tips what to try next?

My L930 ended to same sad face loop when updating to 14322 build. Anyone experiencing same problmes?

Well that's interesting.. Try moving as much as you can off the phone, keeping as much free space as you can. Remove the SD card and try the upgrade again..

Wondering if MS is going to drop the SD400 devices from the supported list :/ don't think so since the 650 has SD2xx

I don't have a SD and phone should be at the factory state after Windows Device Recovery tool (?) so it should have all the space needed for W10 mobile update. I'm just doing recovery again (back to 8.1) and I'll update to w10 official version after that. I'll check space after that report back here.

Phone is back at w10m 1511 version. Storage : 4,40 GB used out of 7,28GB. Should be enough to update to lates 14327? No additional software (apps) installed. And if I continue update to latest it ends up with sad face loop.

Just tried to update to 14328 with same results. Loop with sad face. To be more precise, update goes quite far and after boot it shows those spinning wheels and after like 1% (my own estimate) -> sad face. Damn this can be hard.

You should probably skip any 143xx builds.. they seem to contain sth that causes a bootloop, but your phone is still supported so this is strange
