Why are my icons small in mapping software programs (ArcGIS and Google Earth)?

icons are to small in mapping software programs (ArcGIS and Google Earth)

I run ArcMap 10.3.1 on a Lenovo Yoga with Windows 10. The GUI is very similar to google earth and I am having trouble with both programs. I have tried trouble shooters and re-applied display settings every way I could find both in the programs and in desktop settings. All icons are about a square 1/8th inch and very detailed but they are hard to see and click. Is there a solution for this or is it a compatability issue yet to be resolved?

perhaps you could contact the software developers via their websites to find out if they have a solution?
