Why are my videos so wobbly?

Hello,

I am using a new Lumia 1520 user. I am running the latest DP build (8.10.14219.341). I tried to record a video today for the first time. I noticed that the image processing was wobbling a hell of a lot, even though I was holding the phone steadily. The scene was inside a building, using tungsten light, during the day.

Has anyone seen this before? Any advise?

I had the same issue, and my photos were also often blurry. I tried with front camera, the issue was not here. So I bought a new camera and did the change (since my phone was off warranty) and the problem went away. Probably an issue with the mechanical stabilizer.

I would advise you to send your phone back for an hardware issue if it's still under warranty.

That can be an App-issue too. It's possible that the software stabilizer is overcompensating/fighting against hardware stabilizer. You can try another App to eliminate the possibility.


I have seen similar issue with Nokia Camera App a few months ago, but everything worked fine after using the newer Nokia Camera Beta App.
