Why can I not download large applications from the store, as the download stars but never finishes?

Cannot download large applications from the store, as the download stars but never finishes.

Good evening.

First, I'm trying to download the apps over a fast (>50Mb/s) WiFi connection. I already tried several different WiFi connections just to make sure it was not a problem with the connection itself.

So for the last two months I've been experiencing an annoying problem with my Lumia 920 with Lumia Denim (Firmware Update Notifier 1.2.12.1)., which is the fact that I'm not able to download large applications from the Windows Store (>50MB), as when I click to download, the download starts but never finishes, as the blue progress bar gets stuck at the beginning.

I already contacted the Windows Store support and tried everything, from turning the Battery Saver off and on, deleting Internet Explorer history, deleting Temporary Files, turning Set date and time automatically off, soft resetting the phone several times, and yesterday I even performed a hard reset, but the problem persists.
The thing is, when I restored the phone, all my large applications were downloaded rapidly, but if I try to download that same application over the store, no luck.

Can anyone please tell me what do do? I've bought several apps and games I really want to install.

You'll need to use WiFi for those large downloads. It won't work on mobile data.

Would one of these happen to be Candy Crush Saga. I've been having trouble with that one ever since the last updates. Just sits on pending with an error code of 80073cfb. The only download configuration I haven't tried is standing on my head on top of the router with my arms pointed at Redmond

Sometimes the applications I try to download get stuck on pending too... So you still have that problem and can't download any large apps?

Just that one, I downloaded one over 100mb, that one went smooth. What kind of phone are you using?

Would you consider a hard reset without restoring your previous backups? This situation is pretty frustrating, I am sure.

I was just wondering, I've seen a few people are having my same problem on the 640. It comes loaded with Denim.

I had a similar problem with my 635 a while ago. I had to turn on Airplane Mode, Wi-Fi on and disable Wi-Fi Calling. It worked on that phone, but I can't find how to disable Wi-Fi Calling on this phone. You might try that.

I don't know whether it is related or not, from yesterday onwards, my store stopped installing and updating apps. New apps are downloaded but not installed.... I'm using windows 10 mobile build 10166

CSR racing had an update, that update just sat on pending on my 1520 for days. So uninstalled it and tried to reinstall and that sits on pending now. I have downloaded other large apps and it works fine. Something odd going on.
