Why can't I access a video file?

I cannot access video file

When I try to access video file, the file opens and when I try to play a video from the same file , it re-directs back to the home screen.Any soultion will be appreciated.

What kind of video file are we talking about? One recorded by the phone or one you've put on the phone?
