Why can't I delete anything in folders?

Other folder gets too much space !

Why is that I can't delete anything on the other folder. It is actually using 3.75gb of my device, and that is way too much considering the fact that I've got a 8gb HTC 8x.
How may I delete files of this folder in order to free some space on my phone ?

Install "files". Then you can delete other.

No I can't even with files installed on my phone. And what's with " Htc 8x wont get the w10 update", you must be joking right ?

In Storage Sense use the empty button to clear Other. I'm assuming you're on Developer Preview release?

Yes I am. The problem is that the "other" folder on storage sense has 0 bytes. But when I connect it to the PC, using the Windows Phone app, on Windows 8.1, I can see that the System only takes 1.78GB while the other folder takes 3.75GB. I assume that's temporary files the system has created, but even assuming so, it is too much for a temporary folder. You can find pics attached.

Connect to PC, then open file explorer, click your phone, then delete your other stuff as you wish.

Voila! That was amazing solution dude. Okay, jokes aside bro, I'm not a newbie wp user, I've been using wp since 2010, and I have checked all the possible ways of deleting whatever is consuming that space before coming here, but the phone recognizes System to be having 3.36GB (which is equal to the Windows 8.1 ISO) which is fairly pretty big, and the PC app that shows the stats as seen in the pic, where this 3.36gb space is split between System and Other folder, with the last one taking an enormous space. And no that response of yours didn't help me solve anything. Thanks anyway.

My "system" section takes up 3.24 GB of space... Is WP8.1 not that big? Because of not then I may have an issue here as well...

That's a good size my 930 = 3.38 and my 925= 3.27 so no problem

Okay guys, I knew this was not right. So for everyone that has such a problem (system folder taking up >3gb).
Follow these steps and you`ll free some big storage on that phone of yours. Mine went from 3.6gb to 2.3gb !
1) Install app "Phone Cleaner (English)" from developer PC-DOS Workshop.(sorry guys can;t post links)
2) Open app, and click "Fill Phone Storage"
3) Click OK on the dialog box.
4) Wait some seconds.
5) Click the refresh button.
6) Repeat step 4.
7) Click "Free Phone Storage" button.
8) Go check your others and system folder
