Why can't I download any apps from the store?

Why can't I download any apps from the store

each time I try to download apps from the store, it shows the "downloading x mb" bar, but the bar wont change. It happens either if I use mobile data/wifi. However, I still able to update installed apps.

Check and see if your Microsoft account is "up to date" by going to settings/ email+accounts, then long press on your Microsoft account and hit "sync".

Other than that, you might just need to restart your phone (hold power and volume down buttons together for about 10 seconds until it vibrates)
