Why can't I see or add contacts after updating to Windows 10 on my Lumia 640 XL?

Cant see or add contacts after updating to windows 10 Lumia 640 XL

Dear All
after updating to windows 10 through insider
i went to people's tile and all my contacts where gone, i tried importing from my SIM Card . . . .But also the same problem is still there

i tried to add contacts i get the screen to add the contact but it shuts down before i can type anything

any idea how to fix this ???

If you can't even add contacts then I would do a hard reset to start with.

Same thing happened to me on the last update. Hard reset fixed it and it was fine this time.
