Why can't I send photos via text messages?

I cannot send photos via text message.

Do you have a data plan?
You may need to put in "mms" apn under settings.

I have a Nokia Lumia 521 w8 & 530 w8.1 windows phones using Net10 as my service provider.
A few days ago I stopped being able to send pictures in text. I can still get online and send text. I've had no updates or changed anything. I took a screen settings before and checked them and they are still the same. Been looking for days and see nothing to help. Tried Net10's website and nothing has helped.

This happened to me too. The first thing I did was used wifi calling (if you can) but another problem that I'm GUESSING is that the OS for some reason seems to delete the mms and apn settings. So you have to manually reset both. The best advice is to search online, especially in your providers' forums, for apn and mms settings and manually put them in. Tho after a soft reset AND my phone bill starting a new term, my settings were back to normal.
