Why can't I sort by date?

I really prefer Google for this reason.
I'm going on vacation and looking for information, recent info. But Bing is bringing up results from 2005. I'd if I could sort by date, be REAL handy.

Only in the US - but allows you to sort only by day, week, month, not year or range. So I set my search to use US-English.

Still better than nothing.

Bing gives great results, but I would like more control. Trying to move away from Google is tough, because I use this feature, a lot.
