Why cant i view anything i download off the internet?

[Windows Central Question]

so I have a asus 2 in 1 transformer book t100h, it was pre installed with windows 10 when I bought it from jb hi-fi, but it seems that whenever I download music (using youtube to youtube mp3 converter) I cant listen to anything unless I'm connected to the internet, even files, for example when I download a document/registration form off the internet I cant view it unless I'm connected to the internet.... HELP PLEASE?!! is there anything I can do?.

We have to narrow down the issue first:

Are you able to play the sample music that are pre installed on your OS?
Are you able to open and save documents on your computer using MS Word or Notepad?
What error do you get if yuo can't play the songs you downloaded?
