Why Cortana only works with wifi for me?

Cortana will work fine with wifi, but it will act as if there was no connection with mobile data (the rest of the apps work). What can be the cause?

Check this: Settings > page over from "system" to "applications" > Cortana > Battery Saver > make sure that Cortana is allowed to run in background and allowed to run in background even when Battery Saver is on.
