Why do I get a frowny face during spinning gears?

got frowny face during spinning gears

I finally decided to upgrade my 925 on windows insider, chose the slow route, and about halfway through the spinning gears, it gave me a white frowny face on a black background and then shut off. I can turn it back on and it goes to the gears and then shuts off. Help!
