Why do I keep wanting to come back?

The height of stupidity I guess but I love the platform, I love everything about Windows phone but what really lets me down is the lack of love from devs for apps.

Been using an iPhone 6 for this past 6 months but god it is bloody boring. Sure it just works and never gave me any issue but its boring as hell.

I have the urge to sell it and buy another Windows phone. Does anyone else get like this bar me? Android for me is just a no no, I just don't like it.

I didn't last 6 weeks on an iPhone running iOS 6.

It was boring. And tapping that button in how many different ways?

Yeah. I tried to see what all the fuss was and totally could not find the cause of it. I really felt like they were belittling me in some fashion.

Android? I spent a fair bit of time there. Finally I realized I like the modding way more than I liked the OS.

I mean if you have to go through that many contortions to feel satisfied with your setup, then something is amiss.

Like webOS before, I'll wait until the platform is abandoned and disintegrating to move to a new daily use OS. Unless we get a dark horse entrance to the race. I like the heck out of Sailfish, but I also can't blame them for not entering the US market. We have 2 political parties and 2 mobile OS choices here. I don't see either changing anytime soon.

I don't think you are stupid. I think you are just hopeful. It sounds like you should really write a list of pros and cons for both before possibly pulling the trigger again. That helps me usually. I can get this though, I miss having just a bit more of customization that you can really find on Windows Phone/Mobile.

Im exactly the same, I keep getting rid of a windows phone then going back to Android, given up with iphone as its just so dull. I now have a superb HTC ONE M8, but still miss the Live tiles, the UI, pin to start, but I rely on certain apps, one of which is never going to come to Windows phone, basically our local bus service app, which allows you to buy a MTicket and save money on the cost, brilliant but only for Apple and Android, i emailed them the other day, and there response was, seeing as Windows phone is dead, we wont be developing for it. Crazilly enough I still want a bloomin windows phone, so now considering getting another one, and also an ipod touch just so I can carry around two devices to make sure i have the apps I need. If only microsoft would get there finger out there A...ear and sort the app situation out.
