Why do I need to manually connect the bluetooth to my 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek?

My old-school Pantech Breeze II connected automatically. But now even though the Lumia has been paired successfully, I must manually connect every time. My Subaru Bluetooth version is CAR M_MEDIA.

I would think your Subaru is still looking for your Pantech. There must be a way to clear the previous connections and start fresh.
