why do we have to pay to sync our email

I am trying to understand this I switched from google chrome to Microsoft edge and it doesn't work as easy as you say ,then we have to pay to sync our mail after it says it's free

What apps are you using for your email? What type of email accounts do you have?

I don't understand what you mean by paying to sync email. Would you please provide more details so that we may assist you.

Are you referring to syncing over a metered connection? If so, just connect to WiFi to sync and download large content.

Unless you're using a third party app that isn't by Microsoft, you don't need to pay to sync your email.
