Why do we still not have custom sms tones for text and email ect???

Custom sounds for SMS, MMS, Email, Notifications etc

This was posted in 2011, and we still don't have anything to show for. This has to be the easiest thing to implement in the OS. Remember that day when we could finally set a custom ringtone? Yeah, custom sms should have been added that same day. So sad Microsoft seems to be really ignoring us on this one. And maybe a little bit of Nokia too. I didn't ask for double tap to wake the screen up. I want to set my notifications to something different than what my roommates have, since all 3 of us have WP8 and the noises sound quite similar. Sorry for the rant, but this is getting a little crazy. I have been with windows phone since 2010, when it first launched. HTC HD7. I just want to be able to have a different sound please that's all i ask MICROSOFT.
