Windows Central Question

I now have lost the Wi-Fi icon and my desktop background was eliminated. This type of thing happens constantly. Games that worked under 7, 8, 8.1 and still used to work even under Win 10 stop working. I just went through a day and a half trying to get a problem fixed by one of your updates that caused the desktop to keep pulsating. I had this problem loading Win 10 on my Desktop PC and the solution was to disable Windows Error Reporting through DOS. Could anyone help with this even when I asked for a Win 10 expert. NO. I had to reload Win 10 and now have lost the DVD player I had before. How do I get the DVD player back?

Our updates? We're just a fan forum good sir :) You're device can probably still play DVD's but the program might not be present.

If you have the installation disks use that and reinstall the dvd program

Just to be clear…

This is a fan based News and Discussion site. It is in no way run by Microsoft, Lumia or any developer.

For whatever reason, Microsoft removed DVD playback from Windows Media Player under Windows 10. Use an alternate player like VLC. VideoLAN - Official page for VLC media player, the Open Source video framework!
