Why does my 920 keep flashing Nokia?

920 keeps flashing nokia

my 920 is stuck in a cycle of vibrate and showing "nokia" on a black screen, it keeps repeating this unless i unplug it or try to do a soft reset it and it will show the low or dead battery icon while trying to the soft reset. thank you in advance.

The problem may just be what you have stated: the battery of the phone needs replacement - take your phone to a service center and have it diagnosed.

thank you for the reply, i used information from another post and removed the sim and disconnected the battery, let it sit for a bit and put it all back together, put it on the charger and it responded within a few minutes. thank you guys for giving me back my nokia.
