Why does my Lumia 830 starts up with :( only on the screen?

Lumia 830 starts up with only on the screen

When I open Lumia 830, the first "Nokia" appears bu after that Lumia shows only the text smiley and does not go further. What has caused this how can I get rid of it and use the phone? I have removed battery and charged it som hours, soft reset oes not work either. Will the hard reset clear all personal content... The smiley seems very suspect!!!. If memory is full (like somebody stated) or some other "normal" misfunctioning, the notification should have been done a little bit cleverly.

Did you google or Bing this problem?
If you have a SD card installed get it out and try again.
But looks like you need a hard reset.
And yes after a hard reset your data is gone.
Connect phone to computer with USB a see if you can get in your phone copy your pictured to the computer.
Install Lumia software recovery tool with this you also can flush your firmware.
And yes it would be nice if there was a better explanation and not only a sad smily.
