Why does my Lumia 930 battery drain fast?

not much of a point really if the phone is left idling without cell standby. might as well turn off the phone and claim a year of battery life. I am happy as it is with 24 hours battery life - heavy usage on a l930 with everything turned on. besides, getting days with minutes of sot is beating the entire purpose of owning a smartphone. might as well op get a nokia 3310.

Whaaaa? you get 10 days from a charge....

Whaaaa? you get a day and a half from a charge...

I would feel lucky if i pass 8 hours with very normal usage.

lol, your battery must have reached its end of charge cycle maybe... what phone are you using anyways?

actually this is my experience with all the phones that i have used....

800, 720, 920, and currently 930 and 630.

i use the phone like a normal person does.... its not like i do anything special.

i remove my phone from the charger at apx 7 - 8, and by the time i reach home 6 - 7, my phone would be near the end of its charge.

if i use my phone more than usual, i would most probably charge it within the day.

You should probably hard reset your phone taymur. I get 36-48 hours everyday with my L930. I use whatsapp all day and wifi is always on. If I am out of the office, I would turn on 3G for 1 or 2 minutes every 1 or 2 hours.

My experience it depends on the network, cellular network, why?
In Jordan I had to charge my 735 twice a day, while here in Saudi Serbia less than one everyday.
The network in Jordan is unstable, w10m should fix this with 3G only option

I have everything on... nothing is turned off... not for 1 sec. nothing is blocked in the background.

I hard reset on a bi weekly basis, never got more than 8 - 9 hours per charge, and that's on all my phones, not only the one i have now.

the best battery life i got was from the 720... but not much better maybe 10 - 12 hours per charge.

Just purchase a wireless charger and you're good to go.
