Why does viber hang on my Windows 10 desktop?

Why does viber hang on my Windows 10 desktop

Whenever I use viber it sends the message, then won't work for like five minutes. Also when someone calls, it rings on my husbands phone and won't come on my desktop for around five minutes. It rings while I'm still talking on the phone! I tried uninstalling it but it still does the same thing. I am not all that computer literate so if anyone can advise me with simple instructions I'd appreciate it.

most probaby the desktop version isn't well optimised or coded so it still has issues - it's a common problem
Perhaps enabling it to run in he background could help
