Why doesn't my Camera app want to start?

Camera app does not start

My Lumia 720 has suddenly started acting weird. The camera app when opened(Any app) has a flickering screen with lines and boxes and a pink tint. It then shuts off completely returning me to the home screen. And then the camera app doesn't start unless the phone is restarted. and it goes again and again like this :\ Tried multiple hard resets.And as days are passing, the camera app can be barely used for a minute before going off.

You could try the WPRT to flash the software and if that does not work check your warranty status because then it is a hard ware issue.
With a hard reset you reinstall the software on your phone and as you said a hard reset does not solve it.
With the WPRT you install the software again so if the was a problem with the (already) installed software this flash should solve it.
