Why don't I have a data connection on my HTC 8X?

No data connection on HTC 8X

I have recently purchased a new unlocked HTC 8X phone and cannot connect to 3G. I have changed all the settings for Lebara Australia with no luck.
I tried a Telstra sim in the phone and 3G data works- so it has to be the Lebara network Im guessing?
