Why don't I have motion data on my 1520?

Hi guys,

first post here. Great forum.
I do have a Lumia 1520 also, come to my hands a few days ago. I really like the monster, a bit big, but you know that already. But, I have a problem with my Lumia, don't have motion data. I mean in settings doesn't appear the item motion data, and every app which needs this, they just don't work.

Have anyone experiencied this? Can anyone help?

You must update to Lumia Denim to get motion data... What firmware version is your Lumia in?

I have Lumia Black

OS version: 8.10.12359.845
firmware revision number: 1028.3562.1402.0001

How do I update? When a try to do that it gives me everything is updated.

Go to Settings > extras + info

What does it say under "Manufacturer Name" and "Mobile Operator."

One or two 1520 Country Variants are lagging behind, but I thought they were on Cyan at least.

Argentina Claro? Is that who the phone is branded to? (Just a guess...)

my phone is branded to GB, but I'm in Portugal. Is there a way to update to Lumia Denim?
Can anyone explain that.

ok, I've installed Windows Device recovery Tool, and my phone have an update available.

actual firmware: 1028.3562.1402.0001
actual OS version: 9651.12359

available firmware: 02540.00019.15235.40003
available OS version: 9651.14226

So it appears your phone is branded to O2 in the UK. By the numbers it looks like you would get Denim plus the random reboot patch.

updated to Denim, and now I do have motion data.
