Why don't my CD files from iTunes show up in my Music app on Windows 8 phone?

My CD files from iTunes won't show up in my Music app on Windows 8 phone.

I do have a new Windows 8 laptop. Can I plug in my phone to the new computer to move those files to my new computer and then sync my phone to get those files to work or do I need to still do something to those files so they will show up in my phone? Anything that requires being on-line with my old computer is a pain because the modem is extremely slow. Not impossible but very aggravating. I'd rather plug something in and click and drag because it's honestly much quicker.

It sounds like your best solution would be use a USB hard disc drive or a USB memory stick to copy the files from your old PC to your new one. Once your new computer has all of your music on it, you can plug your phone in and sync your songs onto the phone.
