Why has my Lumia 1520 screen stopped working?

my lumia 1520 screen isnt working ,, but the phone itself is fine

i recieve notifications and hear the phone normal sounds but cant see any of those ,, because the screen is just not working !!!!

Soft reset first mate. Then go from there

Happens often now since the last few updates. Just turn it off and back on.
