Why haven't my favorites been copied to my new Surface?

On May 5th I got my new Surface 3. I am so excited! This is the first tablet I've ever owned. Been having fun with it, when I can get to it.

One thing that I don't understand is why my favorites, settings, history, etc., in IE11 were not copied over from my desktop and laptop, both of which are running Windows 8.1. Why didn't that happen? I thought that at least favorites was shared between Windows 8.1 devices. Am I wrong about that?

Do you have your sync settings turned on for all your devices? See this article:

Check the Settings/OneDrive/Sync Settings.

If those are enabled and same account is used they should sync.

It took a while, but it eventually migrated my favorites to it.
