Why *haven't* you bought a Lumia 950?

I am waiting for the 950 unlocked to be in stock at U.S. MSstore.com since launch day. At this rate I will eventually lose interest in the device and just keep myself happy with my 3 year old L920 WP8.1. I don't have high hopes for a Surface Phone as I am pretty sure it is going to be a bigger than the L950 and I am tired of manufacturers going bigger and bigger with phones.
Yeah the size thing is part of the reason why the 550 appeals to me, the size

Because I love my Lumia 1520 way too much. I greatly prefer the physical design of the 1520 to the 950, and the performance of the 1520's hardware "gets the job done" for me.

Agreed... My 1520 is more of a flagship still then the 950..

Some reasons:

1) I think it's too pricey considering Microsoft has such a small market share.
2) My Lumia 1520 is still working very well. I feel there is not enough improvement to justify purchasing a 950 atm.
3) Continuum is my main interest in the 950(XL), but atm only a handful apps support it.
4) If I had ? 700 euro's I'd rather keep saving up and buy a surface pro :)

Now, this all might sound negative, but I am a big fan of where Microsoft is heading with Windows 10, Continuum and universal apps. It will just take some time I guess :)

Options a and b for me. Considering the problems I'm reading especially it being pulled from various retailers in the UK, I'm very disappointed Microsoft couldn't keep the one bonus the platform had over others, the stability. On my 920, I loved that I didn't get random slowdowns or many app crashes unlike my previous Galaxy S3(not that it was a horrible phone, far from it). I didn't enter the contest but am just waiting for an appropriate price point before buying and hopefully by that time, many of the bugs will have been addressed.

However, if the renders of the 650 turn out to be spot on, I may just go for that phone instead.

Reasons i do want the 950 1. USB type C charging
2. the camera button sicne i loved taking pics with the 1020

Reasons i DONT wnat to 950
ok yes the app gap is a major flaw but i dotn carea bout instagram i dont care bout Facebook i dotn care bout snapchat ( cause that is completely different and whole other issue) but 1. app GAP
2. no star bucks app ( i can get over it)

Because my company hasn't approved it yet and I don't want to pay full price for it. Once they approve it, I can get it on AT&T for $100. Even if I don't like it, I'll sell it and get something else. By the time my company approves it and/or it becomes available again, the Surface phone will be out :D

Like Windows 10 on my desktop, however on my Lumia 925 it leaves a bit to be desired. I keep swapping my work sim in and out of my BB Z30 and the 925 but keep going back to the Z30, mailbox management on WP10 is sub par and the visual layout of metro needs to be moved forward more, its a bit too plain now IMO, was refreshing with my HTC HD7 and WP7 and still OK on my Nokia 800 WP 7.5 it needs more of a graphical update.

Oh that and it feels slow, the Z30 toasts it.

My main daily driver is an S6 as I can use my pebble time better with Android, and thats another reason, smart watch support is also lacking.

1. Build. At current pricing, I should expect to get something better than a plastic-backed phone. Completely uninspiring. If Huawei can sell the Honor 5X at 199, MS is embarrassing themselves with a plastic build at this price range.

2. I don't want to pay to be a beta-tester of incomplete and buggy software. This should have NEVER been put to market with the software less than fully-baked.

I might be tempted at some point down the road, but this thing really should be a 299 phone (max).

1. Apps
2. Price

These are my two reasons as well. Plus I'm on a CDMA carrier and locked in due to it having my family phones in there and is being spread out in a few VZW only areas.

But I did pick up a super cheap 640 to test W10m on when it comes out. I've never used a Windows Phone, so we will see how it turns out.

I plan to use it in my car since I have Groove music. But I like to game on my iPhone so I doubt I'll use it as a daily driver until my current addiction Marvel Clash of Champions makes it on W10.

I did get a 950, had for 10 days. I COULDNT BELIEVE at&t didnt have a car charger. And neither did MICROSOFT. REALLY?? NO CAR CHARGER OFFERED??? INSANE. Returned it. Windows phone 10 wasn't ready. Problems . Low memory error message. Blutooth wouldn't pair, battery drain 50% in 2 hours, heated up, sometimes hot. Returned it. I didn't do any updates. Updates launched then retracted then launched again. Windows phone 10 not ready. I got Lumia 1520. Love it. 8.1 Denim more stable. Battery life 2 days!! Double tap awake , awesome.

I did buy one and regret it. Worst battery life and bugs of any phone I have ever had. Tried all recommendations and it gets better then worse. I could not imagine a typical person owning this phone. Shameful from Microsoft.
