Why I didn't wait for WP8

I'm a bit wary of buying from eBay but I do recognize that they have the best prices on the Lumia 900. Decisions decisions.

Wait for WP8, it's not that far off now.

My wife just ordered a new black L900 after her 6 year old BB was starting to die. I was really hoping that thing could last until the W8s came out. But that's still possibly another 3-4 months away real time assuming the 1st wave brings phones that are as well built/received AND you're the type to spend big bucks on the newest thing. For someone like my wife who obviously cares nothing about such details as OS and upgrade versions the L900 is a premium handset and will serve her well for at least 2 years.

Have to admit I'll be that much more impatient for WP8 since I'm still sitting here with my HTC HD7. Briefly thought of getting a 900 myself and going to the deathstar with the wife, but my legacy TMO plan is pretty sweet and I figured I'd see what 2013 brings first.
