why is internet opening pdf

im opening my pdf but it keeps opening in internet

I'm going to guess Windows 10? FWIW, your browser is handling it locally. It isn't treating it like a hyperlink lookup on the web.

In the search box on taskbar type "default." > click the "Default Programs" result > scroll down and select "Pick default Apps by file type" > scroll to .pdf and toggle it to your fave PDF viewer.
