why is it that I have failed to read any emaill from my family members?

I have a lumia 640,but of late i can't read any email from family members and they always send them to me but I never see them or access them?
This wasn't the case before?

Do you still get emails from other people on your phone?
What are the sync settings of your e-mail account if it is manual then you never get them without syncing.
What is you push the 3 dots ... and go to folders and show all folders do you see them there?
If you login on your PC to this email account do you see them then?
Could it be that you marked them as spam.
