Why is it when I try to login to my account it won't let me or it takes numerous attempts?

Why when I try to login to my account it wont let me or it takes numerous attempts

Started when I upgraded to windows 10

tells me incorrect password (never changed it)

takes at times 50 attempts

tells me to use a disk or usb

when I attempt
change password wants my old and it wont work
frustrated with windows 10

You might need to clean install windows if rebooting it doesn't fix it. Or if you have fingerprint reader software sometimes that causes issues, if you have it, id try uninstalling it and see if that helps.
