Why is my clipboard deleted?

Hello everybody,

after some time this got so annoying and cost me so much data that I Need to ask for a solution here...
The clipboard of my Windows Phone 8.1 is deleted after a few minutes and also after some totally unrelated commands/app changes ...

Is there any way to avoid that?
(Desktop Windows doesn't do that either! And pathetic enough that there is still only ONE thing in a clipboard!...)
