Why isn't Cortana UK working on the Nokia Lumia 625 since the latest update (as of 20 Nov. 14)?

Cortana UK not working Nokia Lumia 625 on latest update (as of 20 Nov. 14)

Hi! I couldn't find any answers to this, so I came here. So I was just wandering why Cortana is not working on my phone, if you could please help or know anything about it- that would be much appreciated.

Details: When I enter "Cortana" in settings, it tells me "not available in this region". My friend has a Samsung Ativ S, and it works perfectly for him (BUT we live not only in the same region, but the same house!).

Any Ideas?

You rregion and language must be the same. So in the UK your region should be UK, and the language should also be English UK. Any mismatch and it Cortana won't be happy. At least, that's how it was for me.

There's no reason why you can't set your phone to English US - Cortana will still work, but search results may not be what you expect.
