Why isn't my Lumia 820 updating?

Lumia 820 not updating

Hi all,
i got today a notification of an available handy update. (currnently i?m on developer preview with lumia black)
it donwloaded but it got stucked on the installation. the display shows the typical animation but the status bar does not show any progression.
it has been so for two hours more or less.
should i remove de battery and try restarting? or should i better wait...

Anyone with the same problem?

Deactivate battery saver simple ,, all process will start

battery saver was off and was pluged into the charger too
just removed the SDcard and the update got installed.

just got Cyan Update!

using preview developer update win8.1gdr1.. got it ..

The Cyan update and the latest WP 8.1 Preview for Developers update took a long time to update. It was stuck on the spinning gears for a couple hours.
