Why isn't my Nokia 625 powering on?

Nokia 625 not powering on

I have a Nokia Lumia 625, however yesterday the battery was drained - so I plugged in the factory charger and allowed 20 mins for it to charge up - it now has some sort of issue as its not powering back on seems to be in a loop it brings up the 'nokia' logo but then switched back off. Cant carry out a hard reset as the battery still seems to be dead. Any help will be much appreciated.

Fully draining a Li-ion battery, which is what is found in most modern electronic devices, is not advisable.

Since 20 minutes of charging didn't do anything, it does seem like your battery is "dead". You might need to have the battery replaced in a service center.
