Why isn't my Start Menu opening?

Start Menu Not Opening

Hey, I've been experiencing this problem for a few days. Every time I click the start menu button or press the key on the keyboard, nothing happens. Can someone please help me?!

It is a know issue. Microsoft did push an update too fix it but it still happens intermittently.
