Why isn't my wifi auto connecting ( Windows 8.1 update 2 )?

wifi not auto connect ( Windows 8.1 update 2 )

HI,

Lumia 640 window 8.1 update 2 (8.10.15127.138)

My homewifi set is set to auto connect but once restart the phone the wifi is not auto connect, have tomanual key the password again everytime.

I Found a solution for that, when you are connected to a Wi-Fi,
? Go to settings> Wi-Fi.
? Then tap the Wi-Fi you are connected to.
? Assuming the "connect automatically" is checked, uncheck it.
? Connect to the Wi-Fi again and enter the password.
? Tap again the Wi-Fi you are connected to and recheck the "connect automatically".

After that, it should now connect automatically even if you turn off the phone or go out somewhere.

I have tried you solution, but no luck for me there still cannot auto connect to wifi

Do other wifi devices have the same problem with your home wifi?
If so, try resetting the router and/or change the wifi password.
If not, you could try a soft reset of your phone (this doesn't erase the data). To do a proper soft reset, press and hold Volume Down + Power buttons for 10-15 seconds until the phone vibrates and turns off on itself (ignore the slide down menu).

I disable the wireless in a modem and enable back then it works now :grin:
