sorry, its not me who needs to chill, its the same people that like coming into these threads and telling us to drop WM and WM is dead and get on with it... but what they fail to realize its "THEM" who doesn't like when we are enthusiastic about WM and feel like staying/using our WM devices.... why isn't anyone telling them to chill? everyday I see posts of android and IOS users coming in here telling us we should "move on" or that android/IOS is so much better/superior/more robust or WM pales in comparison... then when we point out hard facts about how IOS and android have serious flaws and what those flaws are, then they just ignore them and can't acknowledge it or just blatantly tell us we're making stuff up, and is just laughable... seriously why isn't anyone asking why it bothers these people so much, that we don't wanna leave WM... why? please don't parrot the gazillion reason of WM is dead... but we're supposed to accept these other techs and live co-happily with them, which we WM users have no problem with, but it seems not for the other people... who just feel the need to tell us how inferior WM is...

Um, in case you didn't see my sig, I'm a Windows user. I just don't feel like I have to justify what I use. I could easily tell someone to eff off but that'll only get me a vacation from MoNa. If we were sitting in a coffee shop and someone got in my face then I'd go all ghetto, but this isn't the place to do so.

What was I looking forward to in Windows 10 Mobile?

Support. From Microsoft. From apps. But that never happened.

So instead of having a Pity Me Party - “I am done with Smart Phones and will buy a cheap little flip phone and stick to my tablet for other functions. I wont be manipulated into forking out the kind of money they want for smart phones and end up with a device I hate, I wont do it anymore, I AM DONE...” - all I am done with is Windows Phones.

I have moved on. I am never going backwards to Windows Mobile. The mythical folding device running Windows 10 does not interest me at all.

Windows 10 is not a mobile OS. It will never be a mobile OS. Its a barely tolerable desktop OS. It will never have mobile apps. I am not interested in running ancient Win32 junk in my pocket. Why this prospect seems to fascinate some people here escapes me.

Ain't nobody paying your bills. Why should you or anyone else have to justify anything? I'm a Windows user and it checks off most of my boxes. Yeah it sucks sometimes because of the lost potential but I have other devices that take up the slack.

and add it to this if MS had not abandoned win ce devices like original winmo. Then the picture will be really different that it is now.

It is still Microsoft mobile or nothing for me. No excuses, no interest in following the "in" crowd. No real need for anything else. I have been quizzing the people I know with those other mobile OS and most people don't know what their phones can do and only really have very very limited use of apps, maybe four that they actually use. Now, admittedly, I'm talking about the common everyday real people, not the techies.
I'm waiting for the next thing. Just like one of my old cars, my Windows phone still works and gets me where I want to go. I'm not a quitter or a follower.
Just my thoughts.

This pretty much sums me up too. My Windows phone does what I need it to do. It is enough for me. Sure, other platforms may get all the latest apps and all the latest features but I won't use half of them anyway. If other people do use them, that's great, but for me, I just want what I have.

With T-Mobile's Digits, My Surface 3 LTE becomes a phone, a 10.8" screened phone. Picture if you will, holding that up to your head with the Type Cover dangling by your neck. Apparently, the Digits app for PC includes a dialer because I've never seen one for PCs.

I never hold my phone to my ear anymore except on rare occasions, but a Bluetooth connection or speaker from the device is what I use. So that's not a problem for me.

What is really their goal of spending this much time and energy bashing and attempting to cyber users who like MS stuff. I for one don't cruise i-forums or droid forums wreaking havoc.
I am starting to think this is how marketing is done now days, just send your trolls and fanboys to sew seeds of contempt among the competition's users.
Maybe I am wrong, but I can't for the life of me figure out why they are here if they have indeed left MS behind.

They want us to act according to logic and not heart. As far as I am concerned, both my heart and my logic told me to go for Windows phone. So I ordered a new Lumia 950. I mean 4k AMOLED display, SD 808 processor, 3 GB RAM, 4G band, wireless charging, awesome camera technology, OTG support on top of W10. Its value for money. I like to invest in quality products. Much better than those Samsung edge droids and overpriced iDevices.
