I think it might be as easy as staying ahead of the trends. I have heard several models are not in yellow this year.

Cyan was fun. Popular on the L900, not sure if it was on any other Lumia.

I love white. Yet to see a device model that doesn't look better in white. But Cyan was very much a Lumia color. It was associated with WP, much like that yellow is now. Hope both come are available on all Lumia's in the future.
