Why won't my messenger stop giving me notifications?

messenger wont stop giving me notifications

hi guys i have 2 lumia 735 the one on 8.1 and the on win10m 10581(actualy i have one and the other belongs to my boyfriend) ... today i dont know if the messenger got an update or something but all the day im getting notifications from messeges that i have open and read, the same is happening to both devices every 10-20 minutes

Notifications are screwed today. They have been late for me like 30mins. Nothibg new, once servers get ok, it should work normal.
