I have a Lumia 930 that I bought off Amazon. As far as I can tell, it was originally meant for use in the UK. I am using it in the US (specifically New Jersey) on AT&T. Everything seems to work for me except for group messaging. I was looking online today and finally found something that might help diagnose the problem.
In my searching online, everyone always said to "turn on the group text setting". I never understood what they meant until I saw the attached image. Now I do not have an HTC 8X, but my settings look exactly like the Verizon version in the attached image, as in I don't have the "Group texts" option.
I've been in contact with Microsoft support and they had be flash my phone using the Recovery Tool. The "carrier" name changed from EE to Orange, but I still don't have the "group texts" setting option.
Does anyone have any idea how I can add that option or unlock it? I just want to be able to see group texts in a single chain. It's becoming maddening that I can't follow or participate in the conversations.
Thanks for any help you may be able to give.
