Pinterest app on Lumia 820 won't let me sign in on email or type letters

I've downloaded the Pinterest app on my Nokia Lumia 820 & it won't let me set up my email & password. I try to type but it won't show any letters. Is there any way to fix this so I'm able to type my info in so I'm able to use the app?
