Why won't Zune transfer photos from my Nokia 710 Windows phone to PC with Windows 7?

Zune will not tranfer photos from Nokia 710 windows phone to PC with Windows 7

I have manual sync on and drag image from phone icon to PC icon, little wheel spins round and round and round, eventually stops but no picture is transferred. Using Windows 7 64 bit and Nokia 710 lumina phone.
